Heavy metal gods Judas Priest have reminded the world just why they remain so revered with their latest preview from the forthcoming full length, Invincible Shield due out next month. Dropping the single, "The Serpent and the King" the showcase of heavy metal mastery underscores the longevity and endurance of Priest with track that is pure adrenaline from start to finish.
The single lncludes an official launch via Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show coupled with an exclusive interview with iconic frontman Rob Halford. The release concludes a monthlong tease that Judas Priest have been leading, sharing snippets of the track to further build the anticipation.
The arrival of "The Serpent and the King" follow the successful launch of previous singles “Panic Attack, “Trial By Fire” and “Crown Of Horns” - tallying a cumulative total of more than 15 million streams in the lead up to the release of Invincible Shield.
Coupled with the album that marks the band's 50th year of heavy metal dominance, Judas Priest will kick off their world tour this year in support of the album The European leg of the Invincible Shield Tour begins in Glasgow on March 11th and touches down in North America in April and May.
