Earlier this year, metal marked the return of one its most beloved, gamechanging bands of the last generation. 25 years since the release of their lauded studio debut, Spit, Kittie ushered in their modern era, announcing their signing to Sumerian Records and debuting their first showing of new music in well over a decade.

Teaming with accomplished producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice In Chains, Korn), "Eyes Wide Open" marked the band's first new offering in 13 years. Kittie would go unto debut a succession of powerful single in "We Are Shadows" followed closely by the arrival of "Vultures" earlier this month - officially commencing their new album campaign, Fire.

With the band's signature instrumental heft and poignant lyrical breadth as a constant in the series of singles  it was evident that not only were Kittie back, but they were operating at arguably their very best yet.

Submitting a fourth selection from the pending June 21st full length release, Kittie have shared the single, "One Foot In the Grave". The scrappy entry speaks the kind of resilience and fight it takes to come back after being written off. The track bears with it some personal significance for the reemerging unit.

Kittie guitarist/vocalist Morgan Lander explains, "The excitement is palpable in anticipation of our forthcoming album release, with the unleashing of our latest offering ‘One Foot In The Grave’.

It’s a feisty, high-energy song about coming back from the dead and rising from the ashes so to speak, paralleling our real life experiences as of late. Letting go of the demons of the past to begin anew is something that resonates with us deeply!"

As Kittie press ahead toward the June 21st release date of the pivotal album, the band has steadily added more festival dates to their itinerary with confirmed plays at Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple and Festival d'Été de Québec later this summer just to name a few.

In addition to the band's festival calendar which has included highlight showings at sick New World, Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple most recently, Kittie has also confirmed headlining plans of their own. Dubbed simply, Fire 2024, Kittie will set out on a focused run of headlining dates, touching down in select markets in North America this summer.

The slate of live dates will feature an outstanding collection of supporting sets from the likes of Unearth, Upon A Burning Body, Vile Creature, Within the Ruins, VCTMS, Conquer Divide and more. See a current list of dates and cities below. Get tickets - HERE
