Kruelty Announce New EP, 'Profane Usurpation'

Stream the clobbering title track intended to strike a chord with "any old school heavy music fan."

Tokyo aggressors Kruelty have announced a new EP via Closed Casket Activities in Profane Usurpation. Set for a November 22nd release, the four-track presentation follows the traction earned from the band's 2023 EP, Untopia delivered via Profound Lore.

Joining forces again with longtime friend and collaborator Taylor Young, who has worked with the band since their 2020 effort, A Dying Truth, the tandem curate a compelling mesh of punk, hardcore, grind and death metal that lands with as much power as precision.

Introducing the pending release, Kruelty have debuted the EP's title track - a four-minute barrage of varying elements of extreme metal all intended to leave pure destruction in its path. Kruelty guitarist/vocalist Zuma explained the cross section the single was intended to resonate most effectively with, “Death metal, grindcore, hardcore, and punk, all existing in one record, is an ideal form for any old school heavy music fan.”

Along with the debut of the devastating new track, Kruetly have dropped a new visual for "Profane Usurpation" helmed by Seijiro Nishimi which frames the trio's walloping performance and their next era on Closed Casket.

Kruelty is currently trekking in support of Undeath on the band's More Insane tour. The run includes additional support from Gates to Hell, Tribal Gaze and Torture on select dates. A complete list of cities and dates can be found below.
