Metallica Announce No Repeat Weekend Residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas

The siege on Sin City happens this fall as Metallica takeover the sphere with their Life Burns Faster Residency.

With speculation building, Metallica have confirmed what fans had hoped to be true - Las Vegas is about to get loud. 

Metallica has announced their NO REPEAT weekend format will be taking over The Sphere in Las Vegas for four weekends this October with their Life Burns Faster Residency. The engagement begins October 1st and 3rd, 2026, with a succession of  more dates including the 15th and 17th, 22nd and 24th and the closing weekend set for October 29th and 31st.

Drummer Lars Ulrich explained of the decision to launch the residency. “About 12 seconds into the opening night of Sphere with U2 back in ‘23, I thought ‘We have to do this, it’s completely uncharted territory!’”

Ulrich continued, “This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting. We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months time, and way fuckin’ psyched to go next level!”

Tickets to the Life Burns Faster Las Vegas Sphere Residency will go on sale March 6th at 10am PT.
