Having notched some 99 shows across 26 different countries since the marathon M72 World Tour first launched in 2023, heavy music pillars Metallica continue to flex their endurance with another stretch of stadium dates set for 2027. Dubbed, In the Round at the 50 Yard Line, the band will take on select stadiums across the U.S. and Canada starting in the spring.
Enlisting live support from Limp Bizkit and Avatar, the tour will begin May 8th in Vancouver, BC and wrap June 19th in Salt Lake City, UT. The run of stadium dates adds to the run that has already tallied more than 5 million attendees since it's 2023 launch.
Pre-sale tickets will be available to Citi cardmembers beginning September 22nd at 10am local time until September 24 at 10pm local time. Fan Club pre-sales kick off September 21st at 10am local time. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale which starts September 25th at 10am local time.
As with all Metallica shows, a portion of the proceeds will go towards. their All Within My Hands foundation. The non-profit organization has been active since 2017 and allows Metallica to work direct with communities on a local level to reinforace workforce education, the fight against hunger and provide community services to those in need.
