Currently touring throughout Europe and moving closer to the August 7th arrival of God Save the Gun (Deluxe), Militarie Gun have shared their incendiary collab with Marisa Dabice of Mannequin Pussy on the track, "World's Always Burning".
The acclaimed LP was initially released last fall. In the months since the release, Militarie Gun have gone on a tireless live tear, taking on an extensive run of live dates in support of the album. Opting to revisit the album with an expanded version, God Save the Gun (Deluxe) will feature three previously unreleased tracks including "3AM," "I've Said Too Much" featuring Dazy and the latest reveal with Mannequin Pussy on "World's Always Burning."
Ian Shelton shared of the latest offering and explained how the track makes more sense for the album's expanded edition. “Everything in God Save the Gun became so focused on the internal, that when it came to fitting these songs in, it felt like they had stepped outside of that perspective. In my head these songs started to form into the feeling of finally coming to after being so caught up in your own head, and then realizing the rest of the world is still out there and you haven’t been actively participating.”
The arrival of God Save the Gun (Deluxe) will also pair with the band's fan-friendly touring pitch of 20 Songs for $20 Bucks. The September stretch of headlining dates will feature Militarie Gun making good on their budget-conscious trek, while also taking on special appearances including sets at Rocklahoma, Four Chord Music Fest, CBGB Fest and a handful of supporting dates with Frank Carter and the Sex Pistols. See the list of dates below.
God Save the Gun (Deluxe) arrives August 7th via Loma Vista Recordings.
