Last month, the venerated Milwaukee Metal Fest confirmed a return in 2024 following a successful relaunch of the festival brand in 2023.
Among the names the anchored the festival's initial return included the likes of Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Biohazard, and Machine head just to name a few.
The initial announcement confirmed an expansion of the event, with a pre-party kicking off on May 16th and the main festival slated for May 17th, 18th and 19th at The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee, WI.
Topping the 2024 bill are pioneering thrash outfit, Mr. Bungle whose line-up features the all-star ensemble of Mike Patton, Dave Lombardo, Scott Ian, Trey Spruance and Trevor Dunn. The fest will also feature a set from German power metal pillars Blind Guardian as well as deathcore giants Slaughter To Prevail - underscoring the diversity of the line-up.
Among the standouts from the first wave of bands included the likes of Swedish melodic metal legends In Flames, death metal OGs Deicide and black metal fixtures Marduk just to highlight a select few.
The second wave of confirmed artists unveiled an additional 19 acts with the likes of Destruction, Avatar, Lacuna Coil Symphony X, Bleed From Within, Eternal Champion, Uada, Night Demon and more on deck. Additionally, the 2024 Milwaukee Metal Fest will include two unique sets from all-star Death tribute, Death To All.
Now, Milwaukee Metal Fest has heaved an additional 11 bands onto the already stacked line-up, with the likes of Hammerfall, Testament and a Soilent Green reunion set being added to the bill. Additional draws include Paleface Swiss, death metal vets Exhumed, as well as It Dies Today, Errors Of Humanity, Casket Robbery, Hellwitch, Belushi Speed Ball and Illusion of Fate.
