The venerated Milwaukee Metal Fest made its victorious return with a second year in 2024 following a successful relaunch of the festival brand in 2023. 

Among the names anchoring the festival's pivotal second year, the likes of Blind Guardian, Symphony X, Kamelot, Autopsy, along with modern era traditionalists like Uada, Nighht Demon and Bewitcher delivered a hell of a kick off for the heavy music weekender at The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee, WI. 

Speaking to the ethos and lineage of the fest, Jamey Jasta who has spearheaded the fest's rebranding shared, "The spirit of the original fest is alive, well and growing. People are traveling from all over the world to join us and the reaction to each line up addition keeps getting better."

Ensuring each date of the weekend rager paid homage to greats that have paved the way while showcasing the next generation that will carry the torch into the future of the culture, Friday night at the Milwaukee Metal Fest proved to be a well-balanced presentation of the generation depth of heavy music.
