Riding the groundswell of momentum from the September release of her highly-anticipated full length debut, This Is Doom Trap, Mimi Barks continues to confront heavy music's status quo.

Assembling a team of accomplished producers to fully materialize her vision, the emphatic This Is Doom Trap touts entries from MorgothBeatz (Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Barker), Brian Spencer (Slipknot, Scarlxrd) and Kenny Graves (Stitches, HXXXD, and Cody Manson) and standout singles like the Ho99o9-assisted "Montana" and "WORMGIRL" featuring Raven Grey.

In the months since the album's release, Barks has gone onto amass impressive strides, surpassing one million streams and topping her biggest UK headlining tour thus far - all this after highlight submissions at Download Festival, Bloodstock Festival, Graspop and 2000 Trees and more.

Further building the presentation of This Is Doom Trap, Mimi Barks have delivered the music video for the previously mentioned Raven Grey collab. Trekking to Los Angeles and entrusting Astral Media, Barks has unveiled her latest5 visual for "WORMGIRL", offering yet another stylized show of force on a track that toes a skilled balance of melody and menace.

Owning her current iteration, Barks shared how the notion of "WORMGIRL" is about taking in the emotional totality of humanity, both good and bad, and becoming something more. “I thrive off the weight of it all, the discomfort. A martyr, killed, for my love for you. Solitude. Alone with myself on a different plane. Not above nor below. I've grown into something inhuman. I am my own lover, the creator, the destroyer, I am the one who plays the player, I am my own god.”

This Is Doom Trap is now available via Silent Cult. Get the album - HERE
