Napalm Death and Melvins Team for Second Edition of 'Savage Imperial Death March' Tour

Napalm Death and Melvins Team for Second Edition of 'Savage Imperial Death March' Tour

- By Ramon Gonzales

Weedeater, Titan To Tachyons and Shane Embury's Dark Sky Burial are among the bands set to join as support.

Reviving the touring tandem that first set out together back in 2016, grind legends Napalm Death along with iconic punk outliers Melvins have announced plans to embark on the second edition of the Savage Imperial Death March Tour.

The first outing took place some nine years ago with a six-week voyage that brought together two of heavy music's most groundbreaking units. Attempting to again capture that lightning in a bottle, the pairing will begin the second run April 4th in San Diego, CA, crossing the country to close out on June 7th in Berkeley, CA.

Much like the 2016 installment, Melvins will welcome back Dale Crover on the drums following a medical emergency that sidelined him in 2023. Along with Crover, Coady Willis will also be on drums, bringing back the dual-drumming dynamic that only the Melvins can pull off.

Buzz Osborne shared, “Napalm Death! Melvins! What a dream! Not only are we looking forward to being on the road with our friends in Napalm Death, but we’re excited to have both Dale and Coady both on drums once again."

In addition to the pairing of Melvins and Napalm Death, the tour will feature an impressive supporting line up with a rotation of Weedeater, Titan To Tachyons featuring Mr. Bungle’s Trevor Dunn,The Hard-Ons with Jerry A taking on select dates. Dark Sky Burial which features Shane Embury from taking on double duty will perform on all dates.

Tickets are set to go on sale November 22nd at 10am local time. An exclusive artist pre-sale starts November 20th at 10am local time using code - Stonerwitch
