Every Sound Has A Color In The Valley Of Night.
Living up to the Noisy's accurate descriptor, the album saw Night Verses make good on their title of “the Salvador Dali of Progressive metal” - framing vivid soundscapes, unconventional compositions and mind-bending rhythms and atmospherics into a cohesive musical masterclass.
Somehow leveling up their artistry, the band has introduced the second installment of the audacious double album, recruiting one of rock's most accomplished vocalists for added spectacle. The track "Glitching Prisms" showcases a more restrained, albeit no less commanding Night Verses, creating a musical color palette for the swoon of Brandon Boyd of Incubus.
Though the single surfaced last month, the band has now unveiled the official music video for the single "Glitching Prisms". Highlighting a commanding performance from collective, the phenomenal combined ability of each contributor to the track is topped only by the combined prowess if the unit - showcasing the kind of collab track that will no doubt have fans clamoring for more.
The band spoke about working with such a venerated frontman and how the his process melded perfectly with the theirs. “Brandon has such an undeniably unique approach to his instrument. When collaborating with artists of his nature, you often expect to have to bend to their undeniable strengths to make it work. However when writing ‘Glitching Prisms’ with him, his take on the song was instantly the missing piece. Everything he did stepped up the composition, and at the same time was so different from what we initially imagined. I don’t think any of us could be happier with how it turned out.”
The announcement of the second installment of Every Sound Has A Color In The Valley Of Night boasts a stellar cast of notable contributors. In addition to Boyd's submission on "Glitching Prisms" the album features entries from Anthony Greene of Circa Survive, industrial innovator Author & Punisher and Justin Chancellor of Tool.
