Earlier this spring, American death metal vets Nile announced the arrival of their first full length studio album in five years with The Underworld Awaits Us All. The album is due August 23rd via Napalm Records and marks a major milestone as the band's 10th full length effort.

A colossal presentation of top-tier technicality fused with unrelenting audio punishment, the album asserts the prowess of founding guitarist Karl Sanders, along with longtime drummer George Kollias, vocalist/guitarists Brian Kingsland and Zach Jeter, and bassist Dan Vadim Von.

The project was introduced with the menacing first offering, "Chapter for Not Being Hung Upside Down on a Stake in the Underworld and Made to Eat Feces by the Four Apes". Asserting the band's precision and relentlessness, the single packed a wallop while ushering in Nile's newest era.

Now, the band have not only revealed a second serving from the pending release but have coupled the reveal with news of 2025 co-headlining tour opposite Six Feet Under in the 'Revenge of the Underworld' tour.

As for the single, "To Strike with Secret Fang" offers another clinic in death metal mastery. Packed tight with brutality and bombast, the track further suggests Nile are among their generation's respected, tenured tacticians.

Karl Sanders shared of the single, "'To Strike with Secret Fang' is a straight-to-the-point, uptempo blasting venomous assassin's blade of a metal song. It's the shortest track off the new record, The Underworld Awaits us All, which of course in Nile fashion has several long form complex metal compositions. But 'Fang' instantly goes right for the throat and will no doubt be a burner for live Nile shows."

Sanders added of the tour announcement, "Speaking of, Nile is very pleased for the opportunity to once again share the stage with the guys in Six Feet Under and Psycroptic. We are also primed and ready to play some of the killer songs from the new Nile album for metal fans, as well as classic Nile tracks that have become live favorites over the years. We have no doubt that metal will take place!"

The Underworld Awaits Us All was recorded at Sanders’ Serpent Headed Studios in Greenville, South Carolina and finds Nile again teaming with Vile Nilotic Rites engineer Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Whitechapel) for the final mix and master.

Tickets for the Revenge of the Underworld Tour are set to go on sale July 12th at 10am ET. In addition to the run's co-headliner in Six Feet Under, Psycroptic and Embryonic Autopsy will be on as support. See the complete list of dates and cities below.
