Last week, Swedish melodic metal powerhouse Orbit Culture have unveiled their newest iteration, confirming their next full length studio release, Death Above Life.
The album marks the band's eagerly-awaited follow-up to 2023 triumph in Descent, in addition to the companion EP release, The Forgotten - efforts that earned universal praise from fans and critics alike while catapulting the Orbit Culture to new heights among heavy music's most celebrated contemporaries.
Setting an October 3rd release date, Death Above Life also marks the band's debut album on Century Media Records - ushering in a pivotal new era of Orbit Culture. Paired with the confirmation, the band have shared the album's mammoth title track - an entry that officially ushers in the modern era of the band and beginning of their most ambitious musical campaign.
Adding to the campaign of Death Above Life, Orbit Culture have now confirmed a pivotal EU/Uk headlining tour set for October and November of this year. The Death Above Life tour positions Orbit Culture has proper headliners, leading a mighty bill that features Gaerea and Atlas as supporting artists. The trek begins October 21st in Hamburg, Germany and draws to a close on November 30th in Copenhagen, Denmark.
