Following last month's reveal of the walloping introductory single, "Unforgiven" and the confirmation of their pending self-titled, sophomore album, Pain of Truth have submitted another pummeling preview of the album. "Stranded" arrives as the Long Island collective move towards the September 25th release and build momentum with a healthy slate of tour dates in support of the forthcoming release.
The second single from Pain of Truth asserts all the muscle and mayhem synonymous with the band's. incendiary live set. Forceful percussion, aggressive guitars and all the requisite hardcore fury fans have come to expect from the Long Island standouts, "Stranded" is yet another definitive example of Pain of Truth's full potential and potency with producer Will Putney
In support of the self-titled LP, Pain of Truth has also confirmed a sprawling run of headlining tour dates, marking the arrival of the new album. The comprehensive tour begins October 14th in Montreal, QC and spans some 31-dates where the trek concludes with a no barricade event at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY on November 21st.
The tour also includes a deep rotation of support spanning legends to emerging forces. Among the confirmed bands taking on select dates of the tour, Madball, 100 Demons, Killing Time, Rotting Out, Missing Link and Shattered Realm have all committed. The tour will also feature sets from Locked Shut, Contention, Fatal Realm, Mizery, Killing Pace and xForever Warx.
