Oklahoma death slam specialists PeelingFlesh have firmed up plans to the hit the road this Fall in what the band is referring to as an album release tour. While the details of the new album's arrival are still. pending, the band has set their dance card with a lengthy stretch of live dates this fall.
The tour begins October 2nd with a confirmed appearance at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento. From there, PeelingFlesh will set out on a run of headlining dates that closes out in Jacksonville, FL on October 30th.
Beefed up by a stacked roster of support, PeelingFish has recruited a rotation of artists and contemporaries to join the caravan. Among the bands set to join the tour, Gridiron, Final Resting Place, Snuffed On Sight and Outta Pocket are all taking on select dates. Additionally, the tour will feature sets from Mongrel, Fatal Realm, Grounds for Assault and Two Pieced each taking on regional stops.
As for the band's pending new album, the self-titled release was teased earlier this week and will be released via Unique Leader Records. The project was recorded with Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Archspire) and is expected to arrive sometime this fall.
