Running up to the band's North American headlining dates set to kick off next month, punk champions Rise Against have shared two new charged singles in Katy the Bar Door" and "Living Undercover".

Recorded at the famed Blasting Room in Colorado, the singles deliver Rise Against's signature sound and message. confronting a new reality in the wake of the ICE Raids in Minneapolis and across the country. Vocalist Tim McIlrath explained of the first of the pair of singles. 

This is not the first time in history we have reckoned with abuses of power," McIlrath says. "Bearing witness to the fragility of democracy is a scary thing, and it demands a response." As for "Katy Bar the Door," the expression is one that suggests trouble is on the horizon. 

"I don't know where I came across this expression, but I immediately was taken with it," McIlrath explained. "While an obscure reference now... I liked the idea of resurrecting it for this song, and that it sort of fits what it feels like to be alive in 2026."

As for the second single in "Living Undercover," the tone of the single reads much more personal, though no less powerful. A song about living a veiled existence and hiding who we really are, McIlrath  give some additional context, "Sometimes it's because we're building something beautiful behind the curtain, other times we're hiding some kind of darkness. I like the cloak and dagger feel of the song that ties into its central theme."

Rise Against will take on a monthlong trek starting September 22nd in Dallas, TX with support from Alkaline Trio. THe tour will include a important stop at Red Rock Amphitheater before concluding in Irvine, CA on October 23rd. See the list of dates and cities below. Get tickets - HERE
