Set to deliver their third full length album next month, Ohio death metal unit Sanguisugabogg have shared another menacing preview of the album, Hideous Aftermath. Having already issued a pair of pulverizing tracks in "Rotted Entanglement" and the Josh Welshman of Defeated Sanity-assisted "Abhorrent Contraception," the band's latest, "Repulsive Demise," steamrolls with locomotive force and unrelenting brutality. 

The band spoke about the change of pace with the track and how it is indicative of an album where the band is pushing their own limits. "We always like to do something a little different on our albums and this happens to be one of our most different songs yet," the band offers. "As much as it's weird, we think it's pummeling and groovy. We you all dig what we consider the theme song of our album Repulsive Demise." 

The October 10th arrival of Hideous Divinity marks an important first for the collective, recruiting Kurt Ballou as producer on the album. Long self-produced, the release serves as the first time anyone outside the band has had a creative hand on their record. The LP follows the acclaim of the band's 2023 full length, Homicidal Ecstasy, a release that earned unanimous praise and prompted a whirlwind two-year stretch of relentless touring. 

Frontman Devin Swank explained how linking with Ballou made the most sense for the band. "We got off the road after A LOT of touring and wanted to drill down and be as purely creative as possible without distraction. Kurt mixed Homicidal Ecstasy, so he already understood what we were going for."   

In support of the pending release, Sanguisugabogg confirmed their own fall headlining tour. The monthlong stretch of dates with Bogg holding down the top line kicks off November 4th in Detroit and closes out with a homecoming set November 30th in Columbus, OH.

Initially confirmed as support on the tour, Canadian deathcore collective Despised Icon joins the caravan who will be supporting the release of Shadow Work due out Halloween, October 31st via Nuclear Blast Records. The album is the band's seventh and first new material since 2019's Purgatory. Defeated Sanity and Corpse Pile were also among the artists first set to join the run. Now, Sanguisugabogg have announced a full slate of additional artists confirmed for select dates on the tour. 

Among the most recently confirmed bands taking on select dates include Ringworm, Skinless, Upon Stone and Bayway bolstering the brawn of the bill. Regional names like Everybody Dies, Gorgasm, Volcano, Ran through, Bludgeoned By Deformity and Anatomize will also make appearances on single dates - rounding out a supremely stacked roster.
