Metalcore disruptor Scene Queen continues her tear towards the September 11th release of their pending Hopeless Records EP, Metalicious.

Building out her brand genre-blurring Bimbocore, the title track of forthcoming release showcases a daring combination of early 2000's indie sleaze with loads of metallic heft courtesy of Left to Suffer.

The Scene Queen shared of the single, "'METALICIOUS' Featuring Left To Suffer is what happens if a tumblr indie sleaze club song was written in metal font. The song takes you through girls night at a metal show. The band is heavy, the drinks are flowing, and the girls are whipping their purses in the moshpit."

Further delving into the full scope of the EP, Scene Queen added, "METALICIOUS the EP is as chaotic recession pop, y2k - coded, metal madness. I wanted an EP that was as fun to make as when I was writing the Bimbocore volumes and making music was fresh and new to me. In the spirit of Bimbocore, I experimented with the pop influences, but this time the heavy parts are the heaviest they’ve ever been. From deathcore features, to me laying down some of my lowest screams yet, this ep was as fun to make for me as it sounds through out. Yes there’s some trauma dumping in there, but it’s a Scene Queen EP so what do you expect."

Hitting the road in support of the new EP, Scene Queen is currently gearing up for her headlining Metalicious fall tour along with support from Wargasm UK and Bailey Spinn. The trek begins September 15th in Atlanta, GA and includes a play at Louder Than Life Festival shortly after en route to the tour finale October 25th in Orlando, FL.
