Following a massive show at Slum Dunk Festival in the UK that proved one of the highlights of the weekend, post-hardcore luminaries Static Dress have shared the final preview of their mammoth second album, Injury Episode.
From the explosive, Underoath-assisted "Nostalgia Kills," to the equally dynamic and devastating "human props," the band's latest offering in "dull blade disguise" speaks to the band's refined sound and evolved aggression - showing restraint in a way that makes for a well composed rock entry.
Along with the reveal of the latest track, "dull blade disguise" includes a new visual directed by visionary Olli Appleyard that sources body horror and psychological thriller cinema for a clip that provides poignant commentary on fame, celebrity the balance of art and spectacle.
In support of the release of Injury Episode, Static Dress will perform a trio of intimate underplays wiith their ‘Panic Room’ shows taking on sold out rooms in Glasgow, Liverpool and London next week. Additionally, Static Dress will appear as direct support for Bring Me The Horizon in Manchester for the Count Your Blessings album play. The band was also recently confirmed to appear at 2000Tress this July.
Returning to the states, Static Dress will also appear as support for Motionless In White qnd Lorna Shore for a lengthy summer stretch. The band's current list of dates can be found below.
