Massachusetts aggressors Fuming Mouth have unveiled their current configuration lead by band architect, Mark Whelan. Along with guitarist Pat Merson, bassist Chris Berg and drummer Jay Weinberg, the freshly-forged unit have introduced their next chapter with the July 17th release of The Ringing Bell.
The album is due out via Triple B Records and serves as the first recorded project with the newly christened line-up. Paired with the announcement, the reforged band has also unveiled the album's crushing lead single with, "A Blaze of Nihilism." A brutal meld of death metal intensity and hardcore posture, the track suggests the unit is more focused than ever.
The album follows the 2023 release of Last Day of Sun and is coupled with the band's recent confirmation of a hefty touring slate to run throughout the year. This August, Fuming Mouth will serve as the featured guest with death metal stalwarts, Six Feet Under. Shortly after, Fuming Mouth will join Revocation and Defeated Sanity for North American run extending into the fall. A current list of dates and cities can be found below.
