Universal Studios theme parks are gearing up for their seasonal Halloween Horror Nights spectacle. The annual takeover of the parks features several themed haunted houses and movie quality horror production, becoming one of the most celebrated times of the year.
This year, Universal Studios has confirmed theme-attractions sourcing inspiration from Sinners, Stranger Things, Hellraiser and Evil Dead Burn to list just a few. Arguably garnering the most excitement however, Universal Studios in both Orlando and Hollywood will pay homage to Ozzy Osbourne with a Prince of Darkness-inspired haunted house attraction.
Universal Studios shared of the Ozzy-themed experiences, "Ozzy Osbourne’s shocking image was as haunting as his heavy metal hits. Now you’ll enter the Prince of Darkness’s kingdom where music and mayhem collide — and everything’s gone off the rails. Veer through a decaying world ripped straight from Ozzy’s lyrics in this haunted house inspired by one of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest legends. Let the madness begin!"
In addition to depicting the iconic aesthetic of Ozzy, the Prince of Darkness attractions will also feature a soundtrack sourcing from Osbourne's definitive six solo album catalog.
The Osbourne family shared of the upcoming joint effort, “Ozzy never stopped pushing boundaries and he loved anything that gave fans a new way to experience his music and the worlds he created. Walking through these haunted houses, you’ll recognize so many moments inspired by his music and imagination.”
