Celebrated rock photographer Jeremy Saffer will showcase a collection of some of his most iconic works at LA’s Exhibit A Gallery for a very special gallery presentation, "Idol Worship: The Detournements of Jeremy Saffer". The event is set for April 13th and will feature 30 unmistakable images from Saffer's archives.

Taking on an added element of collaboration and artistic reinterpretation, the exhibition will source some of Saffer's most definitive works and transform them into canvases for a curated roster of over 30 of the world’s best multi-media artists.

The collection will feature original works of art from the assembled group of artists, alongside Saffer’s original photographs - combining originality, collaboration and community all galvanizing around Saffer's teflon body of work.  Each painting/original work is accompanied by the artist's bio and a personal quote, further detailing the creative process and emphasizing the connect between music's influence and art's catharsis.

Touting a catalog of work and influence from some of heavy music's most indelible contributors, Saffer's universe is comprised of the likes of Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Ghost, Slayer, Type O Negative, Mayhem, King Diamond, Slipknot, GWAR, My Chemical Romance, Motorhead, Korn, Iron Maiden, Danzig and many more.

Among the artists confirmed to showcase at the special exhibition include the likes of Adam McCarthy, Adam Padilla, Alfredo Gonzalez, Angel Acordagoitia, Antonio Pelayo, Chad James Keith, Chris Shary, Chuck BB, Eric Karalis, Enys Guerrero, Frank Walls, Hailey Allen, Glen Hidalgo, Jose Carabes, Josh Everhorn, Kahla, Kelly Eden, Lori Herbst, Macsorro, Maxine Thirteen, Melany Meza Dierks, Michael Broom, Nitecrawlher, Rachel Satya, Rebecca Tillman-Young, Renee Mandrake, Rodney Thompson, Richard Villa III, Ryan Samuel Carr, Shane Izykowski, Shannon Purcell, Spicy Donut and The Creep.

Speaking on the news of the show and the scope of the presentation, Saffer shared, "I am beyond excited for this show. On April 13th, 'Idol Worship: The Detournements of Jeremy Saffer' is coming to Exhibit A Gallery in Los Angeles which features an insane lineup of over 30 incredible artists doing their artistic interpretations of my music photography. I can't put into words what an honor it is to have all of these incredible artists involved with this. I can't wait to see all their Detournements. Biggest thanks to Richard, Hailey, and Exhibit A for making this happen and putting it all together. It's going to be an incredible show and celebration."
