British alternative rock bands Vukovi and Calva Louise are set to embark on a co-headline North American tour this spring. Dubbed the "Pulse of the Maggots" tour, it is presented by Knotfest and will commence on May 8th in Carboro, North Carolina, concluding on May 23rd in Brooklyn, New York. This tour will include festival performances at both Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple.
Tickets for the tour will be available for artist pre-sale from January 24th, with Knotfest and local pre-sales beginning January 25th. General public sales start on January 26th, all at 10am local time. Stellar Circuits will be joining as the supporting act for the co-headline dates. Get tickets here or here.
Jess from Calva Louise expressed the band's excitement about returning to the U.S. and touring with Vukovi, while Janine from Vukovi shared her enthusiasm about the reality of touring in America.
The tour itinerary includes stops at notable venues like Cat's Cradle in Carboro, The Masquerade in Atlanta, and the Blueberry Hill Duck Room in St. Louis, among others. Notable festival appearances are scheduled for May 11 at Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida, and May 18 at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio.
Vukovi, known for their intense touring in the UK and Europe, have released three full-length albums: Vukovi in 2017, Fall Better in 2020, and NULA in 2022, the latter receiving five nominations at the 2023 Heavy Music Awards. They have recently signed with SharpTone and released singles "CREEP HEAT" and "MERCY KILL."
Calva Louise, a multicultural band from Venezuela, France, and New Zealand based in London, has played at renowned festivals like Reading & Leeds and Riot Fest. They have two albums and several EPs to their credit, receiving notable attention from major music outlets. Their latest mixtape, Over The Threshold, was self-released in December 2023, featuring seven self-produced music videos. The band has recently signed with Mascot Records and is preparing to release a new album.
Stellar Circuits, formed in 2015, blends groove-oriented music with progressive technicality. The North Carolina-based group has released a full-length album, Ways We Haunt, recorded with Jamie King, and embarked on a national tour with Chevelle. Their latest album, Sight to Sound, continues their collaboration with King, showcasing their growth and musical evolution.
