W.A.S.P. To Perform Debut Album In Full for North American Tour

- By Ramon Gonzales

Blackie Lawless and company will play their 1984 self-titled debut in full for the first time ever with support from Death Angel and Unto Others.

The incomparable Blackie Lawless will lead a landmark 40th anniversary celebration of one of metal music's most enduring albums. Confirming the 'Album ONE Alive' North American tour, W.A.S.P. will perform their debut, self-titled opus in its entirety and in order for first time in their historic career.

Reflecting on the ethos of the seminal record, W.A.S.P. ringleader Blackie Lawless framed the spirit of the album and what it captured in he moment when it was first  released back in August of 1984. "It was an angry record made by an angry band. It was a record that not only reflected the attitude of the band members who made it, but also a record that reflected its time."

The current iteration of W.A.S.P. features Lawless at the helm along with longtime bassist Mike Duda and lead guitarist Doug Blair. The line-up is completed by accomplished drummer, Aquiles Priester.

The comprehensive, 39-date trek begins October 26th in central California before trekking the country. The run will touch down in coveted markets including Vancouver, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, New York, Nashville, Dallas, Las Vegas and a finale at the historic Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on December 14th.

Set to join the Album ONE Alive Tour, W.A.S.P. have secured Bay Area thrash legends Death Angel as well as goth metal contemporaries Unto Others for the milestone trek. Tickets are set to go on sale May 31st at 10am local time.

Ahead of the general on sale, KNOTFEST.com will host an exclusive pre-sale event. Premium members can access tickets before the general public starting May 30th at 11am until 10pm local time. Access the KNOTFEST.com pre-sale - HERE
