Maintaining a prolific creative pace, metalcore modernists Wage War have swiftly doubled down on the power of their spring EP, It Calls Me By Name, with the launch of a scorching new standalone single, "Sweet Dreams".

Distilling all the sonic elements that have positioned Wage War in a lane all their own over the last decade, "Sweet Dreams" combines brute strength and bold experimentation for another essential in the band's arsenal. 

"'Sweet Dreams' is a song about being deceived by the world around you," the band shared of the single. "About safety in a sense of blissful ignorance. Sonically, it draws inspiration from all of our previous work over the last 10 years."

"Sweet Dreams" lands as the band prep for their Emergency Broadcast U.S. headlining tour this fall. The trek will feature a powerful line-up of support with contemporaries We Came As Romans serving as direct support. Varials and Cane Hill have also been tapped as special guest openers, making for a dynamic bill of heavy music progressives.
