The legend of Lemmy continues to be ubiquitous in heavy metal lore as the estate of Motorhead mark the 50th anniversary of the band with a new, collaborative project with Z2 Comics.
NO REMORSE: The Illustrated True Stories of Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead is a new 176-page anthology of true, first-hand accounts from some of the biggest names in rock - offering testament to the pervasive lore of the man, the myth and the legend that is Lemmy.
The book compiles a collection of larger-than-life stories from some of the greatest living musicians of our time, including Ozzy Osbourne, Lars Ulrich, Slash, Chrissie Hynde, Dee Snider, Dave Navarro. The book also features contributions from world-class writers Neil Gaiman, Michael Moorcock, pro-wrestling giants Triple H, Corey Graves, TV and television and cultural luminaries like Matt Pinfield, Penelope Spheeris, Riki Rachtman, as well as his bandmates Phil Campbell, Mikkey Dee, and Slim Jim Phantom - all of which recount the real-life mythology of Lemmy.
Coupled with the incendiary stories from some of Lemmy's closest friends, collaborators and conspirators, the book features phenomenal artwork paired with the narrative from the likes of Dave Chisholm, Bob Fingerman, Jay Jay Jackson, and Jim Mahfood. The book's cover art is illustrated and designed by comic book legend Tim Bradstreet whose resume includes staples like Punisher and Hellblazer.
