A week removed from the takeover at the Ohio State Reformatory and the madness in Mansfield, the dust has now settled on another historic outing at Inkcarceration.
As for the staggering math of the event, the fest tallied its fifth consecutive year as a sell out success, welcoming some 66 of heavy music's biggest and best across three stages. As for the line-up, the assembly of artists spanned generations of fans and covered a broad spectrum of subgenre - encompassing the full scope of heavy music and culture.
Among the emphasized takeaways from Inkcarcartion 2025, day two in particular offered added significance, marking the only domestic performance on the year for the masked powerhouse of Slipknot. Having completed their 25th anniversary cycle last year that saw an extensive slate of touring worldwide, Inkcarceration would be the only time US fans would get to see Slipknot in the flesh in 2025.
Inkcarceration also brought together some important reunion sets on day two, with live submissions from Acid Bath, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Chiodos, Dry Kill Logic and Snot all notching memorable moments on the day. With more than 90,000 strong in attendance, the mid-way point of Inkcarceration weekend was nothing short of pure spectacle.
