The final of the three-day celebration of heavy music and tattoo culture of the Inkcarceration festival capped a weekend that saw nearly 100,000 fans converge on the grounds of the Ohio State Reformatory.
Among the final entries from the 66 assembled over the weekend, Sunday's billing was anchored by tip line sets from Five Finger Death Punch, Three Days Grace with Adam Gontier and heavy roar of American groove metal vets Lamb of God leading the way.
In addition to Ink's headlining trifecta, the festival finale featured standout sets from the likes of In This Moment who debuted new music live, BILMURI who delivered a rousing hometown set, plus heavyweights like Nothing More, Architects and Kittie all checking in with stellar sets.
Platforming heavy music's new school, Inkcarceration also brought the heat early with some of the day's most electric sets setting the bar from the jump. Bands like Big Ass Truck, Signs of the Swarm, Currents and Catch Your Breath showcased a wide variety of heft while giving the fans plenty of reasons to rally on the fest's final day.
