Korn drop special 'Follow the Leader' 25th anniversary makeup palette

The collection of colors take on track names like "Freak on a Leash", "Got the Life" and "Children of the Korn".

2023 marks the 25th anniversary of one of heavy music's most definitive albums in Korn's third full length release, Follow the Leader. While it safe to assume there will be plenty of anniversary efforts, the band is kicking things off with a limited edition release of... cosmetics.

Teaming with collaborative cosmetic specials HipDot, the Follow the Leader x HipDot color palette features six different "tracks" or shades all of which are named after essential tracks from the classic record. Colors take on the titles like "Dead Bodies Everywhere", "Freak on a Leash", "Got the Life" and "Children of the Korn" with the packaging borrowing the golden era of the CD aesthetic.

The band took to their social media to announce the collaboration. "We’ve teamed up with HipDot to create an exclusive Follow the Leader CD makeup palette ahead of the 25th anniversary this summer," the band shared. "This palette consists of 8 amazing 'tracks' of various, pigmented textures… Our KoRn x HipDot Follow the Leader collection is vegan, free of harmful ingredients, certified cruelty-free, and curated to embrace all skin tones."


The launch of the joint project instantly sold out but according to the HipDot website, a restock is in the works and fans can sign up to get first dibs. There is also a special commemorative pin set that features the characters from the iconic Follow the Leader artwork. Get the details - HERE
