Earlier this month, metallic hardcore outliers Code Orange began their next era with the reveal of not one, but two incendiary singles in “Grooming My Replacement” and “The Game”. Arriving via the newly forged label Blue Grape Music, the tracks showcased the controlled chaos and volatile combustion that has defined the band. Frontman Jami Morgan detailed the abrasive nature of the tandem of tracks as “the bug-infested subconscious of a band on the run from its past and future.”
Due to decimate Manchester this week for their scheduled appearance at Outbreak Fest alongside Denzel Curry, Death Grips, Converge and Bane among many others, the Steel City crew has introduced their latest gamechanging endeavor.
With an aesthetic nod to the 90's comedy classic Wayne's World, Code Orange have confirmed their first-ever, carefully curated festival with the introduction of Code's World. Borrowing the famous cinematic tagline in, "If You Book It, They Will Come", the festival is set for September 30th in band's hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.
Featuring two stages and an all ages format, the full day of performances has compiled a stellar roster spanning from hardcore to death metal with a mix of veterans and new school. The first-ever Code' World will include sets from Madball, Vein.FM, 200 Stab Wounds, Pain of Truth, Gridiron, 1-800-PAIN, Killbourne, Wristmeetrazor, Live It Down, Hazing Over and Pain Clinic.
Tickets for the first annual Code's World are set to go on-sale Friday June 23rd - HERE
