Back in 2020, adidas stuck a chord with pop-culture aficionados with the launch if it's Star Wars collection that celebrated the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back.
The limited release of highly-coveted drops like the Boba Fett x Top Ten HI were among the silhouettes that really proved effective in the co-branded collection.
Aside from the brand's significant focus on Kanye's YEEZY line, adidas is again sourcing pop culture for a bit of stylistic inspiration with the launch of their South Park character-inspired collection.
Among the designs in the collection include a pair of Forum Lows that offer a nod to Cartman - one with the standard character colorway and another that references Cartman's A.W.E.S.O.M.-O 4000 robot alter ego. The NMD_R1 is also prominently featured with the letters "OMGTKK" in reference to the iconic catchphrase of the show in, "Oh my God, they Killed Kenny". The second features the foil finish and teal colorway of Butters' alter-ego Professor Chaos.
The Stan Smith offers a tribute to Stan Marsh, appropriately, with the iconic Superstar design showcasing the bold green and orange combination of Kyle Broflovski.
The limited collection will be available exclusively through Foot Locker starting March 21st - HERE
