Last month, Ohio death metal practitioners 200 Stab Wounds confirmed the February 2027 release of their Arthur Rizk-produced full length, Lowest Form.
The eagerly-awaited follow-up to 2025's Manual Manic Procedures arrived with the introducotry single, "Pangs of Conscience" - a flex of old school brutality and technical prowess that proved the band had unlocked a new level of intensity.
Sharing a second preview from the pending album, 200 Stab Wounds double down on their domination with "Sweet Suicide". Shifting from mid-tempo to all out blitz, the track is five minutes of sonic violence executed with vile growls, clobbering guitars and devastating percussion.
The band shared of the single, “This song is about anger, despair, confusion, and conquering your own demons. Whether it’s your own, or trying to help someone get through theirs. This song is probably one of the heaviest on the record and discusses what is sometimes an even heavier topic. Enjoy at your own risk!”
Paired with the release of the second single, 200 Stab Wounds have enlisted NOWHERE2RUN, the production ar of Code Orange's Jami Morgan and Eric Balderose to deliver a crushing new visual to compliment the force of the track.
200 Stab Wounds begin the new year with a trek of Europe supporting Whitechapel, along with Sylosis and Tribal Gaze. A current list of confirmed dates can be found below.
