Following the band's triumphant return for the Power Trip Festival in Indio last fall featuring vocalist Brian Johnson, bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd, AC/DC has announced their first European tour in more than eight years.
The extensive run will see AC/DC touchdown to hold court in stadiums in several cities throughout the EU/UK. The tour will also include two nights at London's Wembley Stadium. The tour kicks of May 17th in Glesenkirchen, Germany and concludes August 17th at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.
The 2024 Power Up Tour takes its namesake from the band's lauded 2020 LP. The release was the first since 2014's Rock or Bust and marked the first release since the 2017 passing of Malcolm Young. The release also marked the return of Johnson, Rudd and Williams to the line-up.
However, the tour will not feature Rudd and Williams for the live experience as both have opted out of the summer caravan. Chris Chaney of Jane's Addiction and drummer Matt Laug have been confirmed to sit in for the highly-anticipated trek.
Tickets for the Power Up Tour are set to go on sale February 16th. See the list of confirmed dates and cities below. Get tickets - HERE
