Perennial rock heavyweights Avenged Sevenfold have confirmed the next installment of their universally-acclaimed 'Life Is But A Dream' Tour. Trekking in support fo their June LP release, their first in seven years, the band has maintained a relentless pace on the road, with now the third phase of the run confirmed for 2024.
As has been the case with each leg of the run thus far, Avenged Sevenfold have switched up the supporting roster, this time recruiting genre-bending provocateur Poppy and pioneering electro-metal artist Sullivan King to join the caravan. Additionally, Des Moines prospects Vended will make an appearance on the run, joining the tour for a stop in Lincoln, Nebraska on the 16th of March.
The run of shows kicks of March 6th in Buffalo, NY and concludes on the 31st of March in Newark, NJ.
Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale Friday December 1st. For fans already participating in Avenged's Deathbats Club or the blockchain-based TicketPass platform, presale access is already available - HERE
Speaking on the TicketPass pkatform, M. Shadows elaborated on the focus of the technology. "TicketPass will by no means cost anyone any money, you won't have to get involved in cryptocurrency, you won't have to do any of these things that people feel uncomfortable with, and the token that we're going to be using is on the Polygon network — an environmentally-friendly blockchain."
Shadows likened the platform to a more conventional program for those still skeptical of the new technology. "Look at this as a frequent flier miles type of program. With Avenged Sevenfold, we will be breaking these passes into 'tiers' over time and rewarding the people who have been participating the most in our A7X ecosystem (with merchandise, listening habits, music consumption, live events, and other metrics)."
