Following a turbulent start that included the recent split with former Turnstile guitarist , now former The S.E.T. Brady Ebert, the Baltimore hardcore crew is moving ahead auspiciously towards the March 6th arrival of their debut EP, Self Evident Truth.
Rolling out the project with the introductory single "T.M.T." last month, the unit consisting of hardcore lifers in drummer Ryan Fauver (formerly of End It) and Che Figueroa, founder of Flatspot Records spearhead The S.E.T. all while championing the distinct Baltimore sound. Offering another example of that, "White Lies" offers another emphatic example of hardcore hostility, aided by a guest assist from Sebastian Gorgone of Gut Instinct.
Combining aggressive drums, confrontational vocals and dominant guitars, "White Lies" is another chin check that strikes hard, fast and furious.
In support of the March release of Self Evident Truth, The S.E.T. will ride out for a brief run of East coast tour dates supporting New York hardcore legends Judge. The band will also head to Europe later this year for a performance at Revolution Calling festival.
