Following the success of the North American leg of the sprawling Sweet Oblivion tour that closed out 2023 in grand fashion for Baroness, the band has announced plans to extend the run with a slate of confirmed European dates.
The initial North American leg of the tour featured a mammoth roster of touring support with the likes of Jesus Piece, Portrayal of Guilt, Primitive Man, KEN Mode, Wayfarer, Chat Pile, Vile Creature, Soul Glo, Sheer Mag, Escuela Grind, Midwife, Hoaxed, Empire State Bastard, Cloud Rat, Imperial Triumphant, Uniform and Agriculture, all making appearances on select dates.
For the European leg of the Sweet Oblivion tour, the run marks the first opportunity for fans to experience live songs from the band's lauded 2023 LP, Stone. Additionally, the tour will see Baroness making appearances at major festivals including Wacken in Germany, Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic and ArcTanGent in Bristol, UK later this summer.
The band shared of the announcement, “Finally, we’re coming over to play some festivals we haven’t been to before, play songs from STONE for the first time in Europe and the U.K. and most importantly, see YOU after too long a time away!”
