Industrial metal is on full display with the recent reveal from former Fear Factory frontman, Burton C. Bell. The multi-hyphenate just debuted his rendition of the Rammstein classic, “Du Hast” which is set to be featured on an upcoming Rammstein tribute album via Cleopatra Records.
Due out August 25th, A Tribute To Rammstein features 13-tracks spanning the enormity of Rammstein’s catalog. Among the covers included on the tribute album feature some of Rammstein’s most beloved singles in “Sonne”, “Engel”, “Ich Will”, and “Deutschland”.
For his submission on the tribute album, Bell joined forced with Big Paul Ferguson of the legendary Killing Joke along with MGT of Primitive Race to cover one of the band’s biggest, most enduring anthems. Bell said of the release, “TODAY IS THE DAY, the beginning of an exciting new era for BCB! I present my BREAKOUT SINGLE, DU HAST. Thank you to everyone Cleopatra Records for bringing me, Big Paul Ferguson and MGT to produce this energized version of Rammstein‘s iconic track.”
The Rammstein tribute album touts a comprehensive assembly of alternative outliers ranging from electropop to throbbing industrial. Submissions from the likes of Front Line Assembly, Julien-K, The 69 Eyes, Priest, Laibach and more anchor the LP.
