CELL is barreling toward the release of their new album The Unbearable Form, due out February 9th via Unbeaten Records. Today, the band shares a hard-hitting new single "The Heavens Hear Nothing."
"The Heavens Hear Nothing" is more than just a single; it's a deeply personal piece that resonates with the raw emotions of grief and healing. The band’s frontman shared, “This song, along with a majority of the lyrical content for this record, is based around the emotions and distress I felt after my father's passing. The mix of anger, sadness, frustration, confusion, and depression was overwhelming. Writing was a form of healing, a way to save myself from the avalanche of feelings.”
In a move that will excite long-time fans, CELL has indicated a return to their original sound. “We worked hard to bring back the essence of our Sadistic Sounds era, blending it with who we are today as a group. It’s a nod to our roots, yet a step forward musically,” said the band.
‘The Unbearable Form,’ scheduled for release on February 9th, 2024, promises to be a landmark record in CELL’s discography. The band expressed their excitement, “We’re thrilled to share this album with the world. There's more to come next year, and we’re just getting started.”
Furthermore, CELL has big plans for touring, including their largest shows to date and collaborations with close friends in the industry. “We can't wait to play the new record live, reaching new audiences and revisiting familiar faces who've been with us since the beginning,” they added.
Fans can expect the official tour announcement soon, promising a series of performances that will showcase the depth and evolution of CELL's music. With "The Heavens Hear Nothing" leading the charge, the band is set to make a profound impact on the music scene, resonating with fans old and new.
