Adding to the significance of the release due out September 15th, the pivotal follow up to the acclaimed debut of 2020’s CMFTwill also serve as the inaugural release via Taylor’s own label, Decibel Cooper.
Teaming with producer Jay Ruston who previously worked with Taylor on both Stone Sour’s Hydrograd as well as the CMFT debut, the second installment of the series finds Taylor leveling up his artistry both as a frontman and a seasoned songwriter. Singing, playing both lead and rhythm guitar, as well as piano and mandolin,CMF2offers testament to the full range of Taylor’s ever-evolving performative prowess.
Taylor spoke to the personal significance of the release. “My first solo album was kind of where I was coming from. This album is more where we’re going.”
