En route to the October 13th arrival of eagerly-anticipated follow up to  Sex, Death & The Infinite Void, UK sensation Creeper are set to debut Sanguivore in just a couple of weeks.

Thus far, the band have brilliantly showcased the dynamism of the album’s vast set of influences with a succession of effective singles. With “Cry to Heaven”, Creeper asserted their goth punk DNA with a single that worshipped at the altar of Jim Steinman and his era with The Sisters of Mercy.

With “Teenage Sacrifice“, Creeper flexed their musicality with big guitars and epic choruses in a metallic tour de force that felt arena-ready and came packaged with a stunning cinematic visual.

Now, the band offer their take on synth-centric darkwave with the release of the latest single from Sanguivore in “Black Heaven”. Combining the band’s pop sensibilities with their strong songwriting savvy, the track embraces a balance of goth and electro-pop that feels timeless – in the vein of Clan of Xymox, London After Midnight and Fields of the Nephilim.

William Von Gould shared, “This song allows us to show a new side to the band and sees us experimenting with electronic elements properly for the first time. Taking influence from Depeche Mode and New Order, we try to push the boundaries of our sound out further than they’ve been before.”

Sanguivore promises to be a “a thrillingly theatrical new story that the band’s ever-growing army of devotees will devour themselves within.” Taking a darker turn from their previous album, Creeper, crosses over several genres from heavy metal to old school goth and gloomy industrial for an affair that is as “black velvet curtains” as it is “neon lit nighttime streets”.

In addition to the release of the album, Creeper is set to embark upon the Sacred Blasphemy tour in November. The trek closes out with a second, ear sold out London show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. A list of dates and cities can be found below. Tickets are available – HERE
