Earlier this spring, it was announced that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 would see a proper reissue rollout, available worldwide on July 11th on Xbox, Playstation, Steam, Switch, Windows, and other gaming platforms. The remastered edition of the definitive gaming titles would also feature new skaters, new tricks and new locations to skate as well as the most important upgrade - new music.
Paying tribute to the original release, the THPS 3 + 4 remastered soundtrack will include some of the OG entries first featured on the initial soundtrack. Spanning punk, hip hop, rock and more, some of the refreshed songs that made the remastered cut include Gang Starr's "Mass Appeal," Motörhead's "Ace of Spades," Adolescents "Amoeba" and CKY's “96 Quite Bitter Beings”.
As for the newer entires featured on the first wave of the soundtrack, artists like Turnstile, Run the Jewels, Denzel Curry and Wavves are among the heavyweights showcased. There are also tracks from Alice In Chains, Kittie, H20 and post-punk legends Gang of Four in the collection - as well as a classic from Schoolboy Q featuring Kendrick Lamar with the 2014 smash, "Collard Greens".
For the second wave, the formula of classic and contemporary was especially evident with essentials from Iron Maiden, Run D.M.C., De La Soul and JFA paired with fresh cuts from Fontaines D.C., 100 Gecs and Kennyhoopla with Travis Barker.

Rounding out the comprehensive collection of music on the third and most recent wave, THPS 3 + 4 continues to crush with a soundtrack shaping up to be definitive. Featured in the latest pool of artists, DRAIN, Mastodon, AFI, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and IDLES anchor one of the strongest offerings yet. Punk legends are represented well with tracks from Bad Brains, Agent Orange, The Dead Milkmen and The Cult also featured. From OSEES and Strawberry Fuzz to Danny Brown and Steve Lacy - Tony Hawk Pro Skater continues to be a musical tastemaker that spans generations, genres and conventional video game campaigns.
