DWP television series The Power Hour returns for second season on AXS TV

The interview series hosted by rock dignitaries Matt Pinfield, Caity Babs and Josh Bernstein welcomes the likes of Green Day, Lars Ulrich, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters, Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses and many more.

Independent festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents’ flagship music-based conversation show The Power Hour has been renewed for a second season via AXS TV. 

The debut series hosted by respected voices in rock music in Matt Pinfield, Caity Babs and Josh Bernstein propelled the first season to universal acclaim. The format of the series includes a roundtable discussion of the latest and greatest in rock's current events, in-studio and remote interviews with massive artists from across the rock universe and The Power Hour's fan-driven Top 10 video countdown that has resonates well among viewers and the greater industry at large. 

The second season of The Power Hour will debut on October 5th, on Thursday nights, anchoring one of AXS TV’s strongest nights of  programming. The show will follow their lead-in of IMPACT Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling and will air at 11PM ET / 8pm ET. 

Among the guests set to make appearances for just the debut alone include rock fixtures like  Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top as well as Aaron Lewis of Staind and Pat Monahan of Train. 

Additional confirmed guests set to make appearances on the second season of the show include Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Green Day, The Black Keys, Caleb Shomo (Beartooth), John Taylor (Duran Duran), Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes), Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), Joe Satriani, Wolfgang Van Halen (Mammoth WVH), Courtney LaPlante (Spiritbox), Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), Daryl McDaniels (Run-D.M.C.), Ian Astbury (The Cult), Nancy Wilson (Heart), Bad Omens, Steel Panther, 311, The Interrupters, Royal Blood, Megadeth, Dethklok, Godsmack and many more. 

"The lineup of Rock & Roll legends we have for Season 2 of The Power Hour is comprised of some of the biggest names in music history. Many of these artists I have known for years and consider friends, but being able to have them join the show with Josh and Caity is a new career highlight for me,” says Matt Pinfield. “We’re just as excited to turn viewers on to all of the new bands we’ve been discovering and premiering, who are the future of Rock music.”
