The annual This Is Hardcore celebration is set to return to Philly later this summer as the three-day event takes over Underground Art and Franklin Music Hall. Pooling dozens of artists spanning hardcore, punk and death metal, the yearly event touts one of their most diverse line-ups yet for the 2024 installment.
Among the bands topping the bill, E. Town Concrete will anchor night one along with the likes of BRAT, Shattered Realm, No Grave and more.
Headlining night two, Detroit legends Cold As Life perform what is being billed as an East Coast exclusive - marking an important set following the band's reunion last year, taking the stage for the first time in more than two decades. Also confirmed for Saturday at TiH, Sunmai, Gridiron, Creeping Death, Big Boy, Ingrown and more add to the already stacked bill.
Closing out the festivities, Greg Ginn's Black Flag, coined the 'First Four Years' will take the stage. Leaning into the hardcore punk lineage, the likes of Negative Approach and 7 Seconds will also hit the stage with sets from Death Before Dishonor, Pain of Truth, Outta Pocket and more bolstering the bill.
