Following the worldwide acclaim amassed with the band 2022 release, TEKKNO, hyperpop, metalcore renegades Electric Callboy have announced their return to the full length format. Slowly revealing their next iteration, the band has maintained a steady rollout over the last two years - progressively plotting their next move. 

In 2024, Callboy issued their massive collaboration with BABYMETAL in "RATATATA," creating an international sensation and an instant classic that became mandatory in the live set. Amid a healthy touring stretch, Electric Callboy then released a trickle of singles throughout 2025, with heaters like "Elevator Operator," "Revery" and the band's take on the SUM 41 classic with Frank Zummo in "Still Waiting" each ramping up the next phase of EC.

Late last year, Callboy completed a productive 2025 with the release of "Tanznied," an anthemic track that combined the band's dramatic use of electronics, metalcore explosiveness and powerpop dynamics in what amounted to an all out romp. The single not only punctuated the band's career year, but offered an important segue into what was to come. 

Officially turning the page on their next chapter, Electric Callboy have confirmed the August 7th arrival of their new album, Tanzneid, due out via Century Media Records. On The announcement arrives on the eve of the band's launch of their North American headlining tour. Paired with the confirmation of the pending release, Electric Callboy have also shared another powerful single from the project with the drop of "Hypercharged," - another walloping meld of thudding metalcore and thrilling power pop that strikes with serious effect. 

The single also arrives with a new music video that leans into the band's love of gaming, Teaming with online gaming sensation in Brawl Stars, the clip combines the worlds of Electric Callboy and the beloved game and even introduces a new character, Damian, to the Brawl Stars universe. The band shared of the collaboration, “We’ve always been massive gaming fans, so teaming up with Brawl Stars felt like a perfect match from the start. The track came together naturally, and we loved seeing it take shape as Damian’s theme. Damian fits our sound like he was built for it. Heavy, explosive, and impossible to ignore. It’s pressure, groove, and madness all at once. We love it!“

Further elaborating on the weight of the new album, the band detailed the difficulty in juggling their live dates and their studio work, their commitment to going bigger and better, and how their new album was made with the live show in mind. 

“After our album TEKKNO and all the worldwide touring, TANZNEID took everything out of us. It was intense, exhausting, but also exactly what we needed after all the incredible moments we shared during that era.
