Fit For A King Releases Video for New Single "Keeping Secrets"

- By Cori Westbrook

The track arrives as the band prepare to depart on the Metalcore Dropouts tour with The Devil Wears Prada, Counterparts and AVOID.

Fit For A King has unveiled the music video for their latest single, "Keeping Secrets." The track, a blend of the band's classic style and new creative twists, features a mix of explosive breakdowns, intense screams, and elevated melodic vocals. The song delves into a deeply personal theme for the band, exploring the struggles of authenticity and vulnerability in relationships.

Frontman Ryan Kirby shared insights about the inspiration behind "Keeping Secrets." He explained, "The song is not just a showcase of new elements for us, but also a nod to the popular aspects of our older work. Its theme, questioning whether people can truly love you if you don't reveal your true self, is directly inspired by the struggles faced by my adopted daughter."

As they release "Keeping Secrets," Fit For A King is gearing up for the second leg of the Metalcore Dropouts Tour, alongside labelmates The Devil Wears Prada. The tour, dubbed the Metalcore Dropouts 2nd Semester Tour, will also feature Counterparts and Avoid. This winter leg of the tour kicks off on January 16th in Kansas City, and concludes on February 24th in Minneapolis. Tickets are available HERE.
