Coveted rock prospects Gouge Away have release a new EP, capturing the band's acclaimed performance for BBC Radio 1 during a live session from Maida Vale. While trekking in support of their widely-acclaimed 2024 LP, Deep Sage, the band sat in for a session with Daniel P Carter and the rest is history.
The band shared of the 2024 performance now available as a four-song live EP. "Daniel P Carter had us record this live session for The Rock show on BBC Radio 1. We were on tour in the UK and always wanted to record a session at BBC so we were thrilled for the opportunity. The session was recorded live and mixed in a few hours. Then we asked the engineer to give us a tour of the whole studio which was a really special experience. When you’re there you can feel so much history under one roof."
The arrival of 'Live at BBC' punctuates a year that saw Gouge Away make important strides all while touring rigorously in support of Deep Sage. Set to continue the band's streak, Gouge Away is already set for several dates into 2026 including a pair of high profile arena dates supporting Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age.
First up, Gouge Away will ride out with Wednesday for a stretch of supporting dates in March and April. The run begins March 13th in Knoxville, TN and wraps April 24th in Vancouver, BC. Anchoring the band's 2026 calendar, Gouge Away has been tapped to join Foo FIghters and Queens of the Stone Age for arena dates in Vancouver, BC and Las Vegas in September.
