Manchester hardcore strikes with serious intention as Guilt Trip have launched a sneak attack in the form of a new EP, God Forgives. Detonating with no lead up, no teaser campaign, the band have delivered their first extended play via Roadrunner Records with a three track blitz that showcases a bulldozing brand of UK heft.

"God Forgives is a culmination of progress and the embodiment of Guilt Trip's identity, whilst consciously trying to build on the style and songwriting on Severance we are yet embracing and moving with the sound we achieved on that record," says Guilt Trip vocalist Jay Valentine. "The songs were written with one thing in mind: 'Make it better' and we hope we have hit the mark for every Guilt Trip fan out there."

Landing a knockout combination, the EP is introduced with the effective one-two of tandem singles, "DIRT" and "ANGEL EYES". Defined by weighty groove, defiant vocals and a clobbering hardcore cadence, Guilt Trip assert their position in the conversation of the genre's most promising, ascending forces. The EP also serves to set a high bar for what's next from the band as they continue work their next full length.

Guilt Trip are set to begin a healthy slate of live dates starting next month. Along with festival appearances including Graspop and Slam Dunk internationally and Incarceration and Rock Fest stateside, the band will also co-headline a North American run opposite Malevolence this spring. The Representing United Kingdom Metal and Hardcore Tour will feature the tandem attack of Guilt Trip and Malevolence along with Tennessee brutalizers Chamber adding to the bill.
