Los Angeles-based industrial outliers HEALTH have confirmed their next full length, Rat Wars, due out December 7th via Loma Vista Recordings. Kicking off the album campaign, the band have debuted an enormous pair tracks that rope in a brilliant guest assist and reference a pillar of genre. 

On "CHILDREN OF SORROW", HEALTH again source groove metal titans Lamb of God, tapping guitarist Willie Adler for some bolstered riffage for added brawn to the heavy-hitting single. 

The track harkens back to the success of the tandem's first collaboration dating back to last year when Lamb of God and Health teamed up for "Cold Blood" - an anchor featured on HEALTH's Disco4 :: Part II. 

On the second track "SICKO", HEALTH flex their influences by using a sample of Godflesh's "Like Rats" from their 1989 LP, Streetcleaner. 

As for the accompanying videos, the former will feature a clip helmed by James Markidis while "SICKO" will include a video crafted by Mynxii White. Both videos are set to debut at a later date closer to the release date of the album. 

Rats Wars follows HEALTH's successful second installment of their DISCO4 collaboration series. The 2022 release featured a stellar cast of contributors, including joint tracks with Nine Inch Nails, the previously mentioned Lamb of God, Poppy, Perturbator and more. As for the direction of the album, the band summed up the effort in qualifying it as, "The Downward Spiral for people with at least two monitors and a vitamin D deficiency."

The album announcement follows the band's confirmation of a slew of US tour dates set for next year and now a RAT WARS listening party set for October 6th with respected L.A. industrial nightlife purveyor, DAS BUNKER.
