Championed frontman and heavy culture ambassador Jamey Jasta has released a preview of his forthcoming full length, And Jasta for All, due out May 17th. The single features a collaboration with venerated guitarist Phil Demmel of Vio-lence and places added emphasis on Jasta's summation of the record in being "all rippers, no skippers".
Working with producer Nick Bellmore, "Suicidality" further cements Jasta's legacy as one of the most impassioned, convincing frontmmen in the game. The latest track embraces everything we love about fast, durable, loud and heavy music accented with the anthemic quality Jasta has made a career of.
The collaborative album features Jasta at the helm with a all-star roster of collaborators submitting entries. Among the ensemble featured on And Jasta for All include luminaries like Scott Ian (ANTHRAX), Chuck Billy (TESTAMENT), Zetro (EXODUS), Joey Concepcion (ARCH ENEMY) and Phil Demmel (VIO-LENCE).
Offering his assessment of the onslaught to come, Jasta shared of the project, "Fan funded, four years in the making, got to work with my thrash heroes and couldn’t be happier with this album, it’s ALL RIPPERS, NO SKIPPERS! Play it loud!"
Frequent collaborator and Jasta guitarist Charlie Bellmore also added of the project, "Jamey asked me to write 'a few thrash songs' quite a while ago and over the years they slowly grew into a remarkable love letter to thrash metal. Jamey, Nicky and myself busted our butts to make a serious ripper of an album, and Jamey delivered some of his best vocal performances of his career on this. I can’t wait for everyone to crank this up!"
JASTA will head a series of album release shows for And Jasta for All beginning with the official Milwaukee Metal Fest Pre-Party on May 16 at The Rave/Eagles Club and will feature special guests Bobby Blitz (Overkill), Steve "Zetro Souza" (Exodus), Bobby Hambel (Biohazard), Hoya Roc (Smoke AD, ex-Madball), and more yet to be unveiled.
