Kid Bookie Links with Griffin Taylor of Vended for "Get Out"

Check the new visual for the collaboration track that features slick wordplay and a hostile chorus on a collision of styles.

Continuing to assert a range that consistently keeps the listener guessing, UK standout Kid Bookie taps into bedlam on his latest with banger.

Metalcore breakdowns, slick wordplay and swift turn of phrase, completed by a hostile chorus bolstered by the Midwest fury of Griffin Taylor of Vended make "Get Out" a savage, sonic assault.

Working with Romesh Dodangoda (Nova Twins, Bring Me the Horizon, Holding Absence), Bookie manages to seamlessly weave elements of  trap, rap, and electro and metalcore in what amounts to a three-minute clobbering complete with the added firepower from Taylor.

"Griffin and I always spoke about doing something on our own. We are both massive rap fans even though we are predominantly known for rock,” Bookie shared. “Rap and hip-hop are in our blood, man… Gotta bring this rock shit to the hood sometimes. It’s not always Chad Kroeger doing up rockstar; sometimes it’s grit, blood and a massive fuck you."
Vended vocalist Griffin Taylor weighed in on the hostility of the track, “This single is about what to get when you cross a man with nothing to lose and a man with nothing to gain. This is pure, unadulterated human instinct and a punch in the gullet to anyone trying to test what they’re made of.”

Bookie is set to kick off a run of European dates with French outfit Dagoba. The shows lead up to Bookie's sets at Slam Dunk next month. Check the list of dates below.
